Through the generous training and quilting done by QuiltWorks, the Disabled Women of Color Quilt that I made sold for $1,500.00 on eBay a few weeks ago. All the monies are being used by the National Black Disability Coalition to fund scholarships for disabled students of color to attend the Society for Disability Studies national conferences.
We could not have raised this money without the support (and machines) of QuiltWorks.
