This weekend we are celebrating my sweet husband Bill's Birthday which is April 28. He is no longer with us but his spirit is the heart and soul of the collaborative! We will host the second annual collaborative weekend with ConKerr Foundation making colorful cotton pre-washed pillowcases for children with cancer here in SF. Our goal is 500 pillowcases this year. We have been washing hundreds of yards of fabric and have already made at least 150 kits. We will have extended hours for this event from 10am each day to 8 or 9 each evening depending on our energy! Lots of birthday cake, Martinelli's, food and snacks but feel free to bring a pot luck item. Please stop by or take a few kits home. Looking forward to seeing most of you and some new friends as well.
