We had a wonderful day today at the Collaborative. Six moms from a local pre-school came to work on their school auction quilt. We auditioned fabrics and will start this week on constructing the quilt. As all auction quilts where the children have each participated in some way, this will be a treasure. Our first of many I hope! Part of our mission is to support education, schools, parents and children. This is perfect and I bet we get a few quilters out of this enthusiastic and talented group of moms! |
